Park maintained by Exelon Corporation, the owner of the hydroelectric plant.
Shooting locations:
** Boat launch – right after the entrance. Ideal for silhoutte sunrise shots.
** Along the fence – top view. Ideal for fighting shots.
** Water-level by climbing down from the fence gate. Ideal for low angle shots.
** Viewing deck
** Water level to the left of the viewing deck. Shoot with caution – fast rising water level when water is released.

WHEN
End October through the beginning of January.

WHY
Good actions of eagles feasting on stunned fish and eels.

HOW
When the hydroelectric plant releases water along with fish and eels which get churned up and spit out at the base of the dam, they lay near the surface which makes them low hanging fruits for the eagles, cormorants, and Great Blue Herons.
